well, to make sure that there are no mistakes, for the contest, YOU CAN'T USE THIS DESIGN SINCE MANY PEOPLE UPLOADED THEIR ENTRY FOR THE CONTEST ALREADY!!!

it won't be fair for them if suddenly this design is also allowed to be drawn!!! important that you pay attention to it!!
because entries with the new design will certainly don't make any chance to win!!! ^^

Al right^^ this will official be my very first contest that I’ll organise^^ Normaly I don’t do stuf like that, but because I finaly reached the 10 k pageview ( _{and I’m very thankful to al my friends that made it possible} ) I’ve decided to do one ^^

many people will remember my poll I started up a few days ago, and quite some people were interested in participating^^ so here it is!!


who can enter?

EVRYONE IS ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE ^^ but if you do decide to participate, please send me a note ^^ then I’m aible to make a list with al the contestants and their progress and/or finished results. Make sure that all your friends know about this, so that many people can find their way to this contest ^^ how more people will join, how more fun it'll be ^^


What’s the subject?

Well, it is arsillyd’s 10k birthday, so today is special ^^ right now the first sun of spring is shining here (yep, it’s almost spring), so I thaught about drawing arsillyd with something spring/sun themed and, a surplus is definately a drawing that also contains one (or more) of your own caracters!! It’s not a must, but it’ll have a mutch higher rate of winning the contest ^^ How you ‘ll do it, is entirely your decision^^ it can be digital or traditional ^^

So, in some short words

- draw arsillyd, the theme is sun/spring

- the drawing have tob e done by digital media, or traditional media

- (Not a must, but will have a good effect on your contest results) adding your own caracters to the scène

- you can enter two pieces if you like, but only one can be chosen for a prize.


How does arsillyd look like?

Lately arsillyd had some redesign issues, but I’ve got finaly the new design ready on this link:[link] you’ll find on that link arsillyd in easern dragon form, but you can draw him/her (arsillyd has no gender) in western dragon style as well, because it’s form isn’t standart. He/she adapts constantly^^ on this link you'll find a detailed traditional drawing about how the head looks like: [link] do what you think that is the most comfortable for you to draw.


When is the deadline?

In the poll I’ve made a few days ago, 45 % of those who replied said that their participation depends when I hold it. This is a rather difficult question, because when it suits for person A, it maybe isn’t a perfect deadline for person B. so this is what I thaught. Because I’m a pretty lazy artist myself who also needs many weeks in order to finish something properly, I decided to have the deadline on the 1st of august… yes, that sounds pretty long, but that will give you plenty of time in order to finish it ^^ If I’m not mistaken, many people have also around that date summer holidays, so that gives extra time.


What are the prizes?

Yes, prizes^^ this is maybe the most interesting thing for you, but the most difficult job for me… though I realy want to give evryone something in return for al the effords that definately will be made to gain the contest, my budget allows that only 3 people will gain prizes.

1. a 3 month sub + digital drawing of your caracter+ traditional drawing of your caracter
2. a 1 month sub + digital drawing of your caracter OR traditional drawing of your caracter
3. a digital drawing of your caracter OR traditional drawing of your caracter

evryone else will DEFINATELY have a feature in my journal with a tumb of their picture, together with a link (icon) to your page ^^ after 3 months of being featured, the whole collection deserve a pernament place in the shoutbox (I never use that box for other purposes, so it will stand there forever )

and MAYBE sketch giftarts for their caracter… it’ll depend when I’ll work this summer holiday.
